This juicy, flavour-packed burger combines a perfectly crisp smashed beef patty seasoned with SAGE Chimichurri and onion, layered onto a toasted sesame brioche bun with a creamy, herby burger sauce. Our SAGE Chimichurri is a bright, zesty blend of herbs and garlic, while our SAGE Garlic Aioli is made using free-range Irish eggs - both are 100% natural, chef-made condiments designed to elevate everyday meals.

Instructions:
  • Pesto & Pasta Method - 200g minced beef (80/20 fat ratio preferred)
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp SAGE Chimichurri (plus more for serving)
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 1 sesame seed brioche bun, halved and toasted
  • 1 tbsp SAGE Garlic Aioli
  • 1 tbsp additional SAGE Chimichurri
  • A handful of shredded lettuce
Method:

Make the Burger Sauce:

In a small bowl, mix shredded lettuce with SAGE Chimichurri and SAGE Garlic Aioli. Set aside.

Prepare the Patty:

Mix the minced beef with finely chopped onion, salt, and 1 tbsp of SAGE Chimichurri. Form into a loose ball.

Smash the Patty:

Place the beef ball between two sheets of baking parchment. Smash flat using a spatula or heavy pan until thin.
